Background
Boston Reed has been delivering adult training since 1992, and has worked closely with California adult schools since 1998. It is clear to us that strong adult education programs are built on strong instructional practices. A key resource for the improvement of instructional practices is time for teachers to work together in peer coaching, professional learning communities and collaborative problem-solving.
For the 2007-08 school year, Boston Reed will offer professional development mini-grants to adult education agencies. To participate, agencies must review the application information and submit an application according to outlined specifications.

Applications are due Friday, September 14, 2007.
Announcements will be made on or after Friday, September 21, 2007.
As additional information about the mini-grant process becomes available, it will be posted here.
