Instructor: Administrative Medical Assistant Course

Part-time Instructor to teach the Administrative Medical Assistant course in a variety of locations. Classes are held evenings and Saturdays. As the Instructor, you would be responsible for lecture and lab oversight.

Instructor: Clinical Medical Assistant Course

Part-time Nurse Instructor to teach the Clinical Medical Assistant course in a variety of locations. Classes are held evenings and Saturdays. As the Instructor, you would be responsible for lecture and clinical lab oversight.

Instructor: Electrocardiography (EKG/ECG) Training Program

Part-time Licensed Nurse (RN/LVN), Medical Assistant or EKG Technician to teach the EKG training course. Classes are held in a variety of locations and are taught on Saturdays only. As the instructor you would be responsible for lecture and instruction on Performing and EKG. Interpretation of the EKG is not covered.

Instructor: Pharmacy Technician Training Program

Part-time Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician or Licensed Nurse (RN/LVN) to teach the Pharmacy Technician course in a variety of locations. Classes are held evenings and Saturdays. As the instructor you would be responsible for lecture and instruction of dosage calculations and those skills used by the pharmacy technician.

Program Director: Vocational Nursing Course [Part-time]

  1. Requirements:
  2. RN, hold a current license as a registered nurse, and
  3. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school
  4. a. Minimum three years experience as an RN: one year shall be in teaching or clinical supervision, or a combination thereof, in a state accredited or approved registered nursing, vocational or practical nursing, or psychiatric technician school within the last five years
    OR
    b. A minimum of three years experience in nursing administration or nursing education in the last five years.
  5. Have completed a course or courses offered by an accredited school with instruction in administration, teaching, and curriculum development.

In a variety of California locations. Classes are held evenings and weekends. As the Program Director, you would be responsible for the oversight of lecture, clinical lab and clinical learning experiences.

Instructor: Vocational Nursing Course [Part-time]

Requirements:

  • A. RN
    • 1. Hold a current California license as a registered nurse, and
    • 2.
      • a. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school
      • OR
      • b. Valid teaching credential
      • OR
      • c. A minimum of one year full-time teaching experience in a state accredited or approved registered nursing, vocational or practical nursing or psychiatric technician school within the last five years
      • OR
      • d. Met community college or state university teaching requirements in California.
    • 3. A minimum of two years experience as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the last five years.
  • B. LVN
    • 1. Hold a current California license as a vocational nurse, and
    • 2.
      • a. Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school
      • OR
      • b. Valid teaching credential
      • OR
      • c. A minimum of one year full-time teaching experience in a state accredited or approved registered nursing, vocational or practical nursing or psychiatric technician school within the last five years
      • OR
      • d. Met community college or state university teaching requirements in California.
    • 3. A minimum of two years experience as a vocational nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the last five years.

In a variety of California locations. Classes are held evenings and weekends. As the Instructor, you would be responsible for lecture and oversight of clinical lab and/or clinical learning experiences.
